OEM front brake pad #85115096. OOS at every dealer in the country. I had to put a ticket in with GM to get a set. Took over a month to receive them. They had to pull them off the assemble line I was informed by GM.
I need another set here in about a month if anyone has a connection for that part number. |

Amazon has them in stock, but they are about $40 more than last month. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Brake pad life
How long do the stock pads last for normal street driving? I have not tracked but am thinking about a track day and if/when I should slap some fresh pads on.
Thanks |

Apparently car built before Jan 1 2021 part number for front brake pads is AC Delco 171-1192. Car built after Jan 1 2021 part number for front brake pads is AC Delco 85115096.
Can't find the 85115096 in stock. |

I'd be shocked if there was any change in pad shape. I believe that is a new part number for the California Brake Debacle. Perhaps someone here can chime in? I think that part# change is a different pad material (to remove copper). So, you could run the old pad on a 21+ MY.

I'm not sure what the manual says about pad change intervals though. |

I have a 2021 ZL1 1LE in Florida. Is it OK to use brake pads PN # 1711192 and 1710882? Are those the same as come on the car from factory? Thanks!
