So...am I seeing my LT4 situation correctly?

Many if not most of you will dyno this month with a 0-3% SAE HP correction. However, the altitude is so high and the DA so low here in Denver that a dyno cannot accurately make a correction, so most people use a range, so let's use measured HP +20% correction.

My LT4 should make around 815 corrected wheel next week. However, and this is the topic of the thread, 815 corrected equals 665 measured.

There's wide agreement here that OEM high side and injectors can make between 800 and 840 corrected, so let's use 815 actual or uncorrected.

815 - 665 = 150

So, with my OEM high side and injectors, can't I use an E85 setup to make up some if not most of the remaining 150 hp?

When you have, say, a 3% correction this question would never arise.

I may be missing the point, but my understanding is that oem fueling will not support e85 at that power level. Due to a lower AFR for e85 compared to gasoline.

I think you will still need a fuel system. You can always try first then upgrade later. I doubt anybody has really calculated that correction factor and tried to figure it out.

Agree. Dynojet has told me their dyno can't make the hp correction accurately, so we just focus on actual measured hp and go from there.
