Taking a stab at answering my own questions after further research. Or providing more info for discussion at least.

For the table labels issue, at least for the injector tables, im deciding that the labels dont matter, and that the sensor offsets that are also entered elsewhere invalidate the labels on the table. I am wondering if there is a way to update the labels on my tune to match the zl1 labels. Once the sensor offset values are changed, im thinking the labels are in reality incorrect. In other words, once the lt4 inj values are all entered, the 21 MPa column on the lt1 tune is actually for 28 MPa despite the label.

Not sure yet what factors go into the spark airmass calcs and subsequent table scale. Main concern is forgetting that the labels dont matter.

For second question on SOI... thinking ill leave as is, where soi is moved earlier from stock. My understanding is lt4 injectors only flow about 15% more fuel, and while the overhead the the SOI change provided might not be needed at my current power level, that overhead will be consumed by future mods. I dont know enough about SOI impact on injector injection windows to be confident in messing with it too much. I know with SOI moved earlier inj pw window is 6 ms max, guessing that in original SOI config its closer to 5 or 5.5 ms.

Hopefully my ineptitude provides entertainment for someone

Found out you CAN update the header/axis values by clicking on the name of the axis.

I'm still not clear on whether or not changing the axis labels changes underlying functionality, or is just for human reading.

For the two cases I mentioned above you can do this. In particular, this is what the screen looks like where I would change the Fuel Rail Pressure axis labels.

DSX Aux Fuel Kit, LT4 injectors, and LT4 HPFP arrived today. Will be installing this weekend. Will update on the results.

Anything else I might need? Only thing I can think of is new intake manifold gaskets...

I’m not sure which of these you bought but I saved this for reference. This is good to see what part numbers to use when dealing with high pressure fuel line replacements.

This is post #5

From this thread:

I haven’t done this upgrade so I can’t suggest what lines you need.

I got the 12677004 from DSX... it was the only one listed. Hope it's the right one. Didn't know there were so many choices.

https://dsxtuning.com/collections/gm...p-to-rail-pipe

Weird... they sent me 12677004, but the part I ordered was 12677005... hopefully it doesn't matter...

looks like the difference is in the bends. mine has one 90 deg and 45 deg.

IIRC, 12677004 was the original line with the sharper 90° and 12677005 has the dual 45° bends.

This thread covers this change.

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=567985

Pictures for comparison. I do believe these are still both LT4. Maybe DSX only had the older version in stock.

I didnt order the s pipe previously unfortunately. It wasnt in the parts list i saw... so i have it on order now along with hopefully the dual 45 version of the intermediate pipe.

Will have to reconcile with dsx why they sent me a different num for intermediate pipe.

So ill just do aux pump this weekend. May be good enough to allow a 1/4 mile pass. The lt4 high side is more to support future mods or e60 anywayas far as i know. We'll see. Better to make iterative changes anyway.

In the cooler weather it is most definitely running out of fuel. Had a couple cases in my recent log of throttle down, low fuel pressure and no power. Backed out of throttle immediately both times and haven't driven at wot yet since i verified in log what was happening.

That’s a good a link to reference and one of the better ones I’ve read. Thanks for the link.

I’d suspect you’ll get around that low side dropping off after this weekend.

Its in... mostly... waiting for the overnight curing before i put gas in. Tapping the tank did not inspire me with confidence. The line that attaches to the tank fitting wants to tweak the fitting in a weird way. It leaked a little the first couple of tries. Thats with hardly any gas in it. Im about 50/50 whether its going to leak when i put gas in tomorrow. I did what i could... we'll see what happens.

If it leaks get the next size larger 90 adapter, if that leaks you can install a bulk head on a piece of hdpe and plastic weld that to the gas tank. Hope it doesn't leak because it can be a real pita if you don't drill and tap perfectly.

I don’t know if you’ll need another write-up to read but thought this might be good to know. I haven’t upgraded my fuel system yet but I’m compiling data along the way.
