Anyone here run the airstrip attacks?

As the title states, anyone on here run at the airstrip attack events? I've gone to Indy but not in the ZL1 yet. Just wondering what kind of speeds you guys that have gone, are laying down. Modded and un-modded. I have the ZLE, so already know I am at a disadvantage in these events.

If you guys haven't gone to one of these yet, they are really fun and super laid back.

In the past, shift-s3ctor has had them in CO, but nothing this year.

They use to do them at private airstrips in FL before covid. I never went but wish they would start again. I think the events were wannagofast

I went to Indy last year with my stock ZL1. It ran consistently 145-147. With a ZLE my prediction it will be slower to the higher wing.

I have a 5th Gen SS with 900HP to the tire and it would run 172.

I did the Airstrip Attack in Colorado Springs 2 or 3 years ago. It was laid back, informal, and a lot fun.

I ran 138 with a density altitude of 9000 ft. My car was stock at the time.

Were any of those Indy runs next to an Audi RS3? Good buddy of mine was there this year and ran alongside a zl1. He ran 155 and wanted to make sure I knew he ran next to a zl1, haha.

Edit- sorry happened this year not last.

I did Wannagofast event in FL with my previous Supercharged Viper. Would love to go with the ZL1. It’s some of the best time I’ve ever had with my cars.

I don't remember slipstream doing half miles the last couple years. I know they do the roll racing at Pocono but it isn't a half mile.

ShiftS3ctor & ECTA is currently doing the half miles. Wannagofast hasn't done one since the incident in New Orleans a couple years ago.
