Poor radio signal FM in Camaro 2012 SS convertible
I have a poor radio signal to my radiostations (FM), just a few stations can be found then I search (thoose with stronges signal), but then I disconnect the antenna cable to the spoiler connections the sound is clearer. All cables and connections seems OK, no rust or dirt or bad connections. Since this is a convertible the antenna is located in the spoiler. Any ideas?

The car is all original, nothing added. It's a 45th anniversary 2SS convertible. I have read that many seems to have same issue.

The cables appear to have been chafed and pinched at the luggage rack for a long time by previous owners.
