I contacted the manufacturer of the ceramic coating that was put on my bike because it was put on every part of my bike. Plastic, Plexiglass windshield, etc... I mainly contacted them because part of my bike is demin paint and I wanted to be sure it wouldn't leave it shiny. That is why I posted what I did. There exact response was that it is perfectly fine to put it on everything, but it's formulated to bond to clear coat, so all though you can put it on everything, depending on the surface it won't last long. Their words... Not mind...

If I decide to ceramic coat my car, it will also get put on everything since it won't hurt anything.

And I gotta say it's been raining and the water is beading up like it's sitting on cryptonite, then dries like it never rained WOW I would definitely recommend

Got ahold of some used-for-one-season Toyo studded winter tires (255/40R19) to replace my old worn non-studded winter tires! I have the same tires in 255/40R18 for my other car and they are outstanding. Finally be able to drive it a bit in the ice and snow.

My car is 5 years old now so I did a coolant system flush with Prestone DexCool concentrate for GM. Got 1 gal unmixed at Walmart for $17.95 and 1 gallon distilled water for .99. Mixed it to 50/50 myself. So many bolts to remove the belly pan to get to the drain. That was the most time consuming part. I also had to remove the strut tower brace (convertible) which was easy, just 4 bolts to fill the smaller tank hole. I did not know there were 2 fill caps for the reservoir (one large and one very small) upper and lower tank. Did a YouTube to be sure to burp it properly as I had air in the system when I did a fluid flush in my previous C5 Corvette and it overheated after doing the flush. I only got about 6 qts out not the 10 qts that is the system capacity without additional coolers since I have a convertible. I drove it around and drained another 3 qts out and refilled. In the old days you drained and ran water through with a garden hose with the engine running to flush and get the old fluid out of the engine then refilled with antifreeze but I did not see this method being used now so I did it the YouTube way. Good for another 5 years now.

You should be good! I remember the old days buying the Prestone kit with the T fitting to hook the garden hose to, it definitely got all the old coolant out, but you ended up putting a bunch of very high mineral water into your system... Haven't done that since the late 90's... I think what you did is the way to go, drain what you can and refill with a 50/50 of the factory grade coolant and distilled water, it'll keep your system as healthy as possible... If you really want to be anal about it, do the first drain and fill, drive it 20 miles then do another drain and fill, you'll probably get close to a 75% "refresh" on the fluid... Anything beyond that would be a waste of resources and money...
