Video of my 1st ever track day with Michelin take off slicks

Just wanted to get this vid posted before I hit the sack! TIRED!

Any way I will go into my thoughts of the Michelins versus Hoosier R7 tomorrow.

BYW skip the 1st 4 minutes of the vid!

He really is. I’ve watched this other clip several times. He moves past others almost like he’s driving in the novice group.

Interested in hearing your impressions! I assume 18” slicks? Any walk around videos of your car? Would be cool to see

Yeah I need to take a proper walk around vid!

Yes on 18 rims.

My take away.

>Heated up faster then what I was expecting!

>Improved rear grip, allowed my to apply the throttle on exits, no doubt on this one!

>I seemed to be more stable under heavy braking.

>The tire seemed stiffer. When I would make aggressive turn in the car defiantly gave more more feedback. Felt less "squishy"

>With stiffer sidewall it allowed me to dial in my timing on heavy braking and turn in. Basically I could feel the weight transfer over the nose of the car and with the weight transferred I could time the turning more accurately.

>Taller rear tire helped my gearing and allowed me to stretch out 4th gear for a little longer.

Good, got 4 rods attached. 2 are mounted to the crash bar not the front of the fascia.
Have wing on the most aggressive position too.

Taller? I assumed you were running 650 or 660? What tire/wheel sizes are you running?
