It is for me. I've seen it in person and it's been overdone. Ford's done it, Dodge has done it, even Harley did it on a CVO. Don't like it on any of them.

Definitely not primer like at all. It is in fact very close to the gray on the Charger in the background on one of the photos. The Ford gray is just a little....hard to describe, less deep? Like it is almost faded looking, but very similar to it.

I do not like the color much myself, but hey, not my car! lol I have worked with him for the last 20+ years, he is a Ford nut. He spent 5 years building a Cobra replica, it is pretty bad ass!!!

Technically it was yesterday, but I washed it in recognition of five years (and one day) of ownership.

[/QUOTE]Finally got my car in to get the Xpel Ultimate installed. Did hood, fender, mirrors, bumper, splitter, rockers and bottom of the doors. Also installed my GM body colour splash guards, installed my Power Stop Z23 pads front and rear as the 6 piston Brembo set up was making way too much dust for my liking. Car is a weekend cruiser so no worries about the slight loss of braking power. Also got the Michelin Pilot Sport All Seasons mounted up as the run flats though still having lots of tread were frankly the worst tire I’ve ever driven on.

A side question for anyone that installed this. Is the MAF tube supposed to rest on the hvac slightly.
Yep got the same issues with mine.
Really annoying from a quality piece.
Rotofab clears as ive got both but the induction sounds better on the GM/Cai version..just gotta put up with it leaning on the ac !

I gave my new 2021 LT1 its first home bath today. Only had it a week and a half, but it needed it. Had my roof treated for moss on Tuesday and they got dirt and water on it when they rinsed the roof! Took it for a drive afterward and got some fresh pics.

Curious, why do you have red brake calipers in the front and black in the back?

You'd have to ask Chevy! The red paint option for the LT1 only paints the front Brembo calipers, not the rear non-Brembos.

Oh.. I didn't realize that. Well if that were my ride, it would be the absolute first thing I did was get red calipers for the rears.

GM doesn't do it because the rear calipers on the LT1 are base level parts, not the brembos that the SS has.

Teddydog, that is one sweet ride, congratulations

I agree, it's a sweet ride...! Sorry I should have mentioned that... Didn't mean to just point out the calipers.

That being said, "I" would have to change them out first thing.
