Any idea why the 2021 model with 1LE has the 2nd generation front splitter in the configurator but the 2022 model with 1LE has the original front splitter from pre-facelift? Hope its just an issue in the configurator because the 2nd generation front splitter looks much more aggressive IMO.

Hmm.. so the copper-free option gives an SS the ZL1 brakes?

I was looking at the configurator for a ZL1 in case I ever decided to replace the 2SS convertible with an ZL1 convertible. It appears that black is the only option for the interior. That is a deal breaker for me. Black seats in a convertible in Texas would be a butt burner. It also looks like only black wheels. Just not what I like.

Yep, understood about the V6 comment. It’s cool! And yes, those "other" options just aren’t going to happen.

It seems GM may think otherwise. It wouldn't be the first time that they had made a mistake- shall we discuss the '19 "refresh"?

My dealership in Indianapolis, IN has a 2022 1SS 1LE in Wild Cherry Tintcoat if anyone is interested. It is on the lot, will not last long.

Are you sure that it's actually on the lot? I don't show any 2022s that have actually be delivered yet.

I specially asked him if it was a 2022 and he said yes. I messaged him again and asked him to check; he came back and said that it is a 2021; which is what I assumed. Regardless, 1SS 1LE with the M6 is hard to come by right now.

That orange looks like Sunset Orange. I like it, but I still want the yellow color. Really shame, no more Shock color.

Don't waste your time. After 5 years of Gen 6 the config is still effed up. I set up my options, then change my tires and it changed my rims to something else. I then went back and changed my rims and it changed the color of the whole effing car. What a joke.

Now looking at this post, I wish GM did offer us the option if we can get the black 1LE wheels or the graphite version. Of course that would depend on personal preference but would make a option for the buyer. They at least could’ve given the option to standard SS owners but I do understand the exclusivity of it as well and keep it for the 1LE

I personally like both new colors and either one would look real good in my opinion on a new ZL1.
