Improving top end and efficiency

What are some of the best ways to improve top end performance and improve efficiency/reduce heat? I don't have a WHP goal per se, it's more about the powerband.

So far, I can think of three:

1) Ported stock blower (with the added benefit of potentially being able to run with the stock tune/remaining stealth for warranty purposes)

2) Cam

3) 2650

If possible, I'd like to avoid touching the exhaust, but am open to it. This is on a 6M ZLE.

#3 will be the biggest change for efficiency and heat and coupled with #2 will give you a solid power gain but not combat heat.

I would not consider #1 if you are ever considering a bigger blower and surely not do 1 and 2 together as you might as well just do #3 by itself.

#1 with intake and exhaust, JMS Booster plus flex fuel tune will net ~700whp

IMO - you should try to figure out what your end game might be - or at least have a good idea. If money is no object (and you want around 700+), and you might not mind paying money to almost do the same thing twice, then what CW' suggests is solid. But - the stock cam is going to limit you on fuel/power. If you know you want more, it might be best to skip anything to do with the stock blower, and just go with a cam, maybe a low-side, and 2650. You could skip the 2650 and still do a cam, but you'll still be limited by heat from the 1740. E' will help with that, but you'll need more fuel, and blah blah blah

There are too many ways and opinions to skin this cat.
