Flex Fuel Kit Part Numbers

I am trying to put together a flex fuel kit and my cheap ass is going to buy the parts individually. Does anyone know for sure the part number for the fuel line most of the "kits" use?

So far I have:

GM (AC Delco Flex Sensor) - PN: 13577429 - $50 - - -gmpartsdirect
GM (AC Delco Fuel Line) ---- PN: 22912576 - $32 - - -gmpartsdirect
Gen5DIY Flex Fuel Harness - - - - - - - - - - - $78

for total of $160. Nearly $100 cheaper than any of the "kits" online. I don't believe there is any reason to put big bucks into the components as a "kit". I'll make sure to do the tune right.

I'm entertaining adding such a kit too. Pretty sure I'll need a high side pump also.

I think you'll need to know the average ethonol content of the stations in your region. I think going to e60 is fine on stock fuel system.

I've got a low side pump and assume I'll need a high side and injectors too. I'll check on local ethanol content.

Yes, they look correct but keep the E content to E50 or so. E60 on some cars is too much. I just installed the kit on my '21 ZLE and tuned it. The fuel line needs to be tucked behind the supercharger with the sensor. Otherwise pretty straightforward just like any of the online tutorials. Watch pin 38 location as there's a little black plastic plug preventing the insertion of the pin.

I've heard e50 too. What do you use to keep track of the E%? Looking for either a mounted gauge or using torque pro and am not sure which way to go or even what specific gauges are good.

Just made the order. For anyone who searches this thread in the future.

Sensor and fuel line bought on eBay.
Went with gen5diy harness.

Ended up saving 115 bucks buying things seperately

It’s not the same content across the board. It totally depends on your mods and your altitude. Your tuner needs to look at your injector head room and fuel pressures with the car operating via data log. I’m able to run e70 in Denver. My tuner tested my car at this blend.

Also in CO we have an “e85” FB group that monitors and posts availability and pump content.

I had the torque app with the correct PID for it to work with the cheap android dongle...I just recently installed a Banks iDash gauge which has ethanol content with the AEM air/fuel.

If you don't mind, what PID equation did you use?
