They make cars to meet the lowest common denominator for emission and other requirements. SO yes it will pass in all 50 states.

I got there and in less than an hour I was on the road. Joe called many times during my trip home to check on my progress. Unbelievably fantastic car buying experience with some really great people. I have the car of my dreams. Thank you!!
Your car is absolutely gorgeous! Same color as mine and I plan on driving it home from James Martin as well, but to NH. Been waiting a long, long time for it to happen. My confidence is very low like it will never happen with all the issues I've been through trying to get it for the 3rd time!
But It's been a breath of fresh air dealing with Joe this time. Again, Beautiful car!

Excellent! The color and wheels look great together. I sent you a p.m. with a question.

ggaites -- Can I ask how you plan to manage the brakes?

Will CA allow you to leave it as-is because it was purchased on the lot and driven in (my understanding is we're past the date that would be allowed, but it's hard to get a straight answer)

Are you going to replace the brakes with copper-free before registering in CA?

Thanks!

I had the same question. Everything I have read states the 2021 ZL1 and SS could not be sold in CA. In 2021. The exceptions is those cars already on dealer lots.
I have found nothing on line that indicates a 2021 ZL1 or SS, purchased out of California can not be registered in CA. , provide it is CA. smog equipped. However, I would be interested in a definitive answer from someone who has purchased a 2021 ZL1 or SS, and registered it in CA.
If you don’t live in CA. you have no idea what a goofed up state it is. It’s crazy here.
