I swear I'll find an airport runway or something to rent and set some baseline for you with your W rated rear tires... trust me, you'll take that BIG FAT L you're trying to dodge so much.

Make sure you quote the person your responding to/asking a question otherwise no ones sure who your referring to.

Well it most certainly was not me and definitely not my ZL1 but I know of someone going over 180 MPH in a ZL1 on a private road course. But he or she typically hits 150-165. 180 is only every great once in a while and during special conditions weather permitting. But it was exhilarating...from what I was told. Wish I could have been there. My cars don't ever go over the posted speed limit when I drive.

If you're talking to Camaro1973 then the costs on these builds have varying degrees of costs depending on the shop. I've seen some shops charge around $15K for a full build while others charge around $20K and some a bit more. Again depending on the shop. I think the more popular and recognizable the shop the more you'll pay. Some shops are very reputable but not as popular so they charge a little lighter. It doesn't hurt to get a quote from different places and then talk to those individual shops. And the ZL1 is very reliable. The reliability and durability of these builds ultimately come down to the parts (if an aftermarket blower has some defect then that will affect your engine) and the shop that does the labor (if they do something the wrong way then it will have a negative effect). The ZL1 and LT4 tho are pretty sound.

I’m afraid to add my bills up.. lol I think I spent more on exhaust parts then my blower…

Reliability has been great for me. No check engine lights, runs fine no issues at all. I did mine in stages so it ended up costing me more. Plus blowing out 3 sets of gesi cats doesn’t help either.

Take a look at CSP’s website at the Andrew package and add in the 2650 minus like 1k or so to remove the stock blower port. That’s about what I spent. Probably around 20k.

I’ve got a lot of other odds n end mods too so my total price is up there.

I’ve pretty much earned my own private bay at their shop at this point

I went 194. Stock car, 5200 ft altitude. Slightly uphill. Race gas additive. I had about a 10 mile stretch of straight and empty road, and held it at that speed for about a minute.

It was intense.

Yowsa. Running 166 at a 1/2 mile event was very buttoned down. Today out in...Mexico, yeah that's it, Mexico, 160 felt intense.

That’s sick… all I’d be thinking about is something jumping out in front of the car or a blown tire..
