Video: Callaway SC750 ZL1

I took the best footage I had and created a video from my ZL1 Hertz SC750 HMS rental last January 2020. This is the fastest car I've ever driven and definitely makes my SS 1LE feel slow. This thing does 0-100 like mine does 0-60. I've driven C6 Z06's and C7 Z06's but this ZL1 has the edge. A lot of fun but it was disappointing they had to sell off their inventory so soon and I didn't get a second or third time to rent. Car had just over 300 miles when I rented it.

There is a member on here that bought one of them. There was a good debate on it and if it would be a collectors item on the future, which I think it will be.

Definitely beats getting a Camry for a rental. With only 24, though, I think there's going to be some desirability for them. I saw SN 01 sell at the Barrett Jackson auction in Vegas: https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...EDITION-249010

Black with charcoal gray and red calipers, that would have been very cool (obviously wouldn't have worked with the Hertz colors but as an alternate).

I would only expect it to appreciate also. It may not be a huge profit down the road but I can't ever see it depreciating if the mileage is kept low. Only a collector is going to be willing to pay more for this than a standard ZL1 so mileage will be key.

I'd love to have that customized carbon fiber hood insert. Dont see it for sale though anywhere.

Definitely a different ZL1 that looks good and that sounds louder too. Don’t care too much for the raised insert for the hood though but overall a cool ride.��

Didn't some of those come with the 2300 poking out of the hood, rather than a raised one? I know the Callaways did, but I thought the Hertz cars used those same blowers. Either way - I prefer the blower poking out of the hood. I like seeing it torque over, like ZR1s.

I do like that raised cowl. I'd be interested in buying that if someone came out with it, as long as it fit the stock hood. It's subtle.
