Northern Virginia Recommended Dealer?
Looking at purchasing a 2022 ZLE and rejoining the C6 community.
I got my first SS from Newman Chevy in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, but we now live in Arlington. Not super familiar with any of the dealers here other than Koons and Country Chevy out in Warrenton. Any dealers people here like? Any I should stay far away from? I'm not looking for a lot: just someone who will be straight with me. Thanks all. |

Koons, particularly the one in Tysons Corner sucks!
I have had decent luck with Pohanka Chevrolet in Fairfax, but that might be a bit far from you. Definitely stay away from Lindsay!!! |

Koons in Tysons sucks. I hate them.
I took mine in for warranty and recall work to Pohanka. Positive experience each time. As for purchasing, I had to go out of state (GA) to find the car I was looking for. Koons kept jerking me around about their allocations. They straight up lied to me for months trying to keep me on the hook. I didn’t buy from Pohanka (I tried), but at least they were honest about their allocations and the likelihood I’d get a car. |

Koons is a complete joke. I just bought mine from there and the entire process was BS and everyone from the GM down are a bunch of liars! Had some pretty awful road rash on my wheels and they agreed to refinish them which they ended up doing but it was pulling teeth to get them to do it.

Thanks, guys. Yea, I figured I should steer clear of Koons. I'm willing to travel a bit, and Fairfax is easy from Arlington. I'll look at Pohanka. Let me know if there are others worth looking at.

Forgot to add. I am a decent amount south of you and my local dealership is Radley. The service department is a joke but the sales floor seems okay. They have my information but haven't been super pushy. The inventory isn't great down here but I know they have an 18 2ss A8. Blue w/black stripes. I drove it before I bought mine and everything seemed okay with it.

Country Chevrolet seems to have great reviews on Dealer Rater. I have not had personal experience with the service department, but when I was working with the sales people briefly on an order Kirk Hughes was good about keeping in contact.

If you’re still looking, I can second Country Chevrolet in Warrenton. The process was very quick and easy, however the finance guy pushed extended warranty and maintenance plans like most do. The salesman, Ben Greer, was more than willing to negotiate via phone and email vs. in person only.

I’ve talked Kirk Hughes at Country Chevrolet. Kirk is very thorough, stays on top of email’s and texts, he’s been great about sending me additional information, additional pictures, etc. I would certainly order a car through him.

Lindsay in Woodbridge and Bomnin in Manassas like the classic bait and switch, they tell you one thing then write another, I would stay clear of them.

I'll add my 2 cents - stay away from Koons. The initial buying process wasn't bad, I got a pretty good deal on the car, but their service department was a nightmare. My 2021 blew it's engine 2 weeks into ownership. They misused my car while it was in their care, failed to perform repairs and then tried to gaslight me about it. It took 3 separate trips to the dealership and over 35 days stuck in the shop and they still couldn't get it right.
I tried dealing with Bomnin once and they are crooks and were very disrespectful to my wife. In the past I had great experiences with Criswell Chevrolet up in Gaithersburg, although the last car I bought there was in 2012 and the salesman I used to work with is no longer there. |

I had a bad time with Bomnin, Not only did they mess up the color of the car i wanted, but they messed up my financing paperwork. Theyre pushy, not a good experience.
Country chevrolet wasnt "bad" when i bought my S4, but they messed up the license plate carrier by jamming oversize screws into it instead of getting the right sized screw. |

Literally gave them a deposit for a black camaro they had on order, when they call me to come get it, I show up and there's a white one. |
