Curious about this too. I asked Vengeance Racing if they've ever installed a carbon fiber driveshaft in the ZL1 and they said no. I can tell you in the Hellcat world where I was the last 3 years, the DSS carbon fiber driveshaft wasn't any better than the aluminum version, in fact many were unhappy with them. If I were going with a carbon fiber driveshaft, it would be a QA1 carbon fiber. I ran a QA1 CF driveshaft for 3 years in my 1000hp Hellcat without any issues.

I'm open to any at this point. It's going in a zl1 1le and will be around 1000hp here shortly. Installing a mantic triple disk clutch and figuring while its apart mine as well

There were a bunch of DSS CF DS failures a few years back when they first came out... the QA1 CF version seems to have been perfect to my knowledge.

Screw it bought the q1a carbon fiber shaft. Now I have 5 more weeks waiting on the xdi pump.

Yep, I only know of 3 QA1 CF driveshaft failures on the Hellcat about 3 years ago. QA1 took the issue seriously, they refunded the customers and suspended sales until they could determine the failure. Whatever it was, they supposedly resolved it and started selling them again without any issue since then that I'm aware of. Mine was part of that initial batch and I never had any issues after 3 years and my Hellcat was considerably modified.
