Love my ventilated seats and no issues so far (knock on wood).

The last 2 vehicles and also my wifes current car has always had ventilated seats and they all work the same way. As others have said, They just pull whatever air is on the floor into the seats. So switch it to floor and they will get cold much faster. Leave it on Auto and just wait for the cabin to cool down a few mins before you turn them on otherwise.

You'd think Cooled seats would cause some sort of moisture / condensation over time.

Wonder if there is a mod to put a stronger fan in there. I always have mine on high and barely works. I want a fan that blows so well i need to turn it down but wishful thinking i feel

i've actually though about running a flex tube from the foot vents to the intake for the seats, I feel like even a small tube would help a lot.

As I remember the fan in the seats, is only a small PC type cooling fan. So there isnt a lot of CFM there. I too find them a little lack luster, but my backside isnt small either.

Take two radiator fans and mod them in

Unrelated, but back in my innocent youth I visited a steel mill, and boy, did it have some ginormous, taller than 6' fans. We were warned not to walk in front of them while they're blowing at full force, because our butts may end up on the rollers.

There are two small HDD type cooling fans. One in the seat back, one in the base. While these certainly lack power, I think the main problem is the small perforations in the seat covers.

Like 120mm ones? I have some monsoon fans I could try... they are loud at full tilt though, like 75dB.
