WTF Summit Racing?
I have been using Summit off & on for almost 30yrs, so don’t think this post is an inexperienced shopper or disparaging of their years of prompt shipping & excellent CS, but....
Last night, yes last night, I was shopping Nitto DR’s & the price was $450/tire, but I wanted a night to think on it before ordering as they had 4 in stock in the size I want, but wasn’t quite sure on the rims (yeah I’m picky) so I wanted to make sure of availability & proper offset before I bought all together. I refresh the page just now & suddenly they are $30/tire more, same in-stock. Is this possibly a gouging technique they’ve incorporated to squeeze people (by IP) that have viewed the same item or ? This isn’t about the $60, but come on, it’s just a little fishy... |
