The one I had, had the ability to use the camera to also see when parking near parking blocks. Was a big help, like have a front back up camera.
Does the one they offer have the same capabilities ?

PDR and front camera systems are completely different.
PDR is same system in both and uses a camera in windshield front mirror assembly.
The parking indicator thing your talking about is part of the front collision alert system and uses a camera in the grille along with the front bumper sensors. Your Camaro probably was not equipped with the front collision avoidance system.

And no, you cannot use the PDR as a front camera for parking as the camera is mounted behind the rear view mirror.

The Camaro does not have a front parking camera as a factory option. You can add one as many members have done. It would have been great if the Camaro had this option from the factory.

thanks for the help. I am placing an order for a 2022 and was hoping to get that option. Oh well ill just park farther away LOL
