2021 Build-Out is now 9/17/2021. Final dealer order week is now 7/1/2021. Final consensus is now the 2nd June consensus. That means that dealers have 2 more consensus and June is when dealers will see if they are getting any final 2021 allocations.

2022 production starts 9/20/2021. First dealer order week will be 8/5/2021.

And really sucks for those of us with preliminary 2022 orders. I'm about to give up and go buy a mustang.

So does this mean an 1100 status order for a '21 will definitely get built as a '21?

Just now checked the Chevrolet site again, another black convertible showed up since I checked 2 hours ago. Also says "In Transit" even though its far away I just called about it. After checking he said it's sold and a customer ordered it. Maybe you guys waiting that your car is already built will be getting it a lot sooner than later.

No. 1100 is still waiting for allocation.

Mustang production is being shut down for 2 weeks starting May 31st due to the chip shortage so you'll have the same issues trying to get a Stang built too.

My wife was really looking forward to driving her black 22 ZL1 vert later this summer but with the news today, we probably won't see it until December to Canada. We ordered the 22 ZL1 on April 8th.

Yes but there are a ton more mustangs on lots in the north east usa. I'm serious when I say there's probably 6 or 7 2ss within 500 miles of me.
Honestly I'm starting to eye a supra.
Dunno what to do. This constant push backs are driving me nuts and testing my low level of patience. I was OK with waiting till August or early Sept for delivery but now we're talking mid Sept for construction to even start, assuming nothing changes a 6th time.

I'm ****in' losing it over here man. I have orders in for both model years, so I guess I'm covered for both. I see my 2021 still has a chance, if GM handing out more allocations in June.

What should I tell my dealer? I feel like I should email them and say I'm reading final orders for 21 will be June and 2 more consensus.

Thoughts?
