I placed an order at a Canadian dealership early February, my status is still sitting at 1100. Obviously, I can't predict whether my dealership will receive allocation but I doubt it. Did anyone with a 1100 order know if their dealership received an allocation for a 2021 in the last week or so? I only ask because the factory is supposedly supposed to resume operations next week.

GearheadSS was cool with me, he helped me out too. Like everyone else, I'm here to get information and as much knowledge as possible. When I do get my 6th gen, I want to share it here.

BTW- GearheadSS, I'm starting to get a feeling I should go to another dealer and put an order in in hopes they get an allocation before my original dealer.

Is there still hope, or is it over?

Might be worth the effort to call around to other dealers in your area to see if any of them have an available allocation.

Sorry I guess I'm confused. Somewhere along the lines of this thread I thought I read you work at a Chevy dealer or are a Chevy salesman.

Just because you say it, or have said it for 15 years, doesn't make it right. Especially with that approach.

I'm the Inventory Manager at a Chevy dealerhip. I've been ordering GM cars and trucks for 20+ years. I'm not sure why you're so concerned about my actions on this site. I've done a lot of good on here and helped many folks here as well. That fact that you don't like something that I say to one person that thinks they know everything, has no bearing on me. Feel free to move along if you don't like what I do here.

Just a reminder that next week is the final order week for 2021 Camaros. Last week was the final consensus so if your dealer didn't receive an allocation on their consensus, they're not going to be able to fill any order at 1100 status.

You'll need to get a 2022 order submitted.

So I just have a general question about the whole order and allocation process... why did GM extend the consensus and order week if no allocations were given nationwide last week and no more 2021 builds are going to be accepted anyways??

I’m bummed and confused as to what the point was of extending order timeline if no more orders were accepted anyways.

I can't confirm that no allocations were handed out during the extension. I haven't received any official word that that is indeed the case.

Oh okay that makes sense, would dealer sales managers or someone else inside GM be able to confirm that? It’s more so out of curiosity for myself at this point!

Or do you know when you might receive official word on if this was the case for last week?
