Yup. Well first it took awhile to get the pick up done. 2wks or so. Then they had a delay bc their computer systems or something and to bear with them. I did eventually get paid and they are a big company. But yeah it was slow as hell.

Older vehicles aren’t Carvana’s thing. They prioritize late model lower mileage vehicles. I just sold them my 2020 Hyundai Accent for several thousand more than local dealers offered on a trade..

Sold my Ram 2500 to Vroom. They paid several grand more than the alternatives. It did take about 3 weeks for the whole process. If you do it, make sure to request a bank transfer of funds and not a check to save time. I would do it again.

Sold my 2011 Mustang convertible to AutoNation, got a check when I delivered it and passed their inspection. Best offer of all that I checked. Now Vroom is a different story, I found my 18 Camaro RS and paid a deposit on 3/6. Went through weeks of getting all the necessary paperwork done, getting different stories from different associates after they had my 11K down payment. Car was finally delivered on 3/28 with over 5K of undisclosed damage. Filed a claim and ultimately they agreed to replace the convertible top and repair the golf ball sized hole in the front bumper which required an entire repaint of bumper, I paid for repair/paint of rear quarter panel and rear bumper. Ultimately I really liked the car and was finding less and less Camaro's for sale in Florida in the color's I was interested in.... yellow and hyper blue. Long story is I will NEVER buy a car online again.

Started the process yesterday. They offered me $37,978 for my 2017 1SS with 4,646 miles. The car is in pristine condition with nothing added except Scotchguard 3M Pro film on the nose, mirrors and both sides of the car on the lower half, plus GM color matched rock guards. That is 1,000 more than I paid for it brand new! I sent the necessary items via email, and then e-signed everything they returned for me to sign within minutes. Next step is a FedEx package is sent to me with paperwork that needs some signatures in ink, then I send that back with signed title to them in a prepaid Fedex envelope that is provided. After that, they call to setup the pick up date, which should only take a few days. At least, that’s how long customer service said it will be. I then get a bill of lading from pickup driver, and that bill of lading is super important. The condition that is recorded on it by the driver, in your presence, is the proof of how the car is leaving you and becoming theirs, condition-wise. I will film the pick up and take a ton of photos as well, to be extra careful. Payment is received as soon as Vroom gets their copy of the bill of lading from the driver. I was very happy with the calls I made to their customer service so far. I had a couple of questions, and they answered them for me easily, and I got through to an actual human in a minute at the most.
I bought the A8 1SS back in 2017 new, and planned on this being my last fun car, that I would keep until I was buried in it. lol Some things worked out well, and I now own it outright, plus I have a Jeep GC with the Hemi as my daily driver. I’m now looking to pay off the 11K or so that I owe on the Jeep, and use the other 26K towards a 6M 2SS, when the prices of these cars comes back down to earth. I can’t wait to drive the 6th gen with a 6 speed. I’ll be buried in this one! 🤘🏼 PS: I’ll update along the way, with how the process goes.
