Installed the Gen5DIY live rear view mirror upgrade from the 2019+ cars. Install was pretty straight forward. And of course I did not take time to snap a photo. Overall very happy with the upgrade, while it is not a cheap one.

That looks really sharp. Are there performance advantages or is it mainly a cosmetic kind of thing. Do you have to get tuned to keep from throwing codes?

I tested it doing several stoplight pulls and some spirited driving on Lime Creek Rd. in Austin. Phone did not move.

Performed seat mod so I can recline all the way back. Ton of effort but we’ll worth it.

Let it sit overnight after a very thorough wash (foam cannon followed by 2 bucket wash), then gave it a very thorough Adam's Polish's Ceramic boost (car and wheels), detailed the interior and engine compartment and then put the car cover on it, really have no where to go for at least a week or more, so considering such it is so clean right now want to keep it that way... Car cover went on (wife always helps and we NEVER drag the cover on the car, it is a very orchestrated maneuver to put the cover on or take it off... No dragging, no sliding)...

Installed my GM knee pads. They don't match the exterior but I wanted *some* color inside the black cockpit.

oil change and while I was there I was informed that my headliner was sagging in the front in a couple of places. They will replace it under warranty. Dropping her off again on wed to get it done, will take a couple of days. Never noticed it...

FYI the windshield will come out as part of the official headliner service procedure. If you don't want that, there are workarounds, for example, using this rubber edge trim to grab the edge of the headliner and hide the foam.
