Aux or triple pump

Cars going through a new setup. Everything down below is the same but now built motor, heads, cam, and lower compression. Wondering if I should do a aux or a triple pump and why. Not changing injectors or anything. Possible later down the road will go port injection.

Thanks

If you’re going all out, the triple pump setup will support whatever you can throw at it.

I agree. expensive but nice and clean intank pumps are the way to go.

That isnt really an apples to apples comparison.

Factory lt4 intank pump = ~480 lph. Aux pump = 255 lph. So roughly 735 lph.

Your basic triple 274 setup is 1350 lph. But you are also looking at about $2500 for everything on a triple pump..... opposed to $1300 for an lt4 intank and aux pump. Double the price for double the fuel capacity. If you dont intend on maxing out the aux pump, one could argue you are wasting money on a triple pump.

LT4 tank with Aux setup generally can support about 9-950whp on E85.

Triple pump setup can support 1200+

The more important question will be on how you plan to use the car? If you do any road course racing then stick with a In-tank setup. Straight line racing the Aux setup will be ok.

This is what I wanted to hear. Road course ax has been more of what I’m focused towards. Thank you.

Now to just get a solid list of what I want for the triple pump lol. So many different options haha
