who tuned the car? any bone stock numbers?
No bone stock numbers. and a shop named MCR tuning in Kentucky

That's right where you should be but without a baseline it's tough to know for sure. You completely disabled the nannies right?

I'd invest in HP tuners, make some runs and post the logs. Sounds like it's pulling timing.

Man that mph is really low. My M6 LT1 almost stock (Rotofab and tires) is running 116 with 12.10 ETs with a high 1.8 60'.

Are you letting up before the Traps? I've done that.....

It is like it is just falling off up top. At 11.9 you should be a least 115. My A4 GTO would trap 115+ on an 11.9 run.

It has been years since I have been in the racing game so maybe I am wrong, I just know what I used to run and what I used to see. What gear are you in at the end of the track? Is it shifting right at the end maybe?

I agree with want1ss, my 16 with just CAI and drag pack went 11.71@119. Your mph is lower then most stock SS with A8. Something is wrong with the tune. Last TNT I was at I met a couple SS Camaro guys with E85, tune, CAI and drag radials. They were both running 11.60s@121which is probably pretty close. They were running 11.80s till I gave them some tips on launching. They were both trying to leave from 1500 to 2000 and most have found out that right off idle has been best for the A8s.

Ok, if your TCM is still locked, then low-11s could be a bit much to expect with your mods, but, mid-11s could have still been seen in my opinion with E85 tune, headers, and drag tires. I say that because I went 11.6@118 when my TCM was still locked, and I would expect your car (with headers) to be faster than mine was at that time (with an all-stock exhaust).

Tuning these Gen V computers can be difficult honestly, because it's a torque-based computer, meaning that it's not just spark timing and fuel stuff. To be able to tune the TCM, you'd first need to remove the TCM (it's underneath the passenger-side headlight, on the frame rail) and send it to HP Tuners to be unlocked. Then when it comes back, you'd need 4 credits from HPT to license it, and also 4 more credits to license your 2017 ECM, if you wanted to tune that yourself as well.

Boy HP Tuners really has control of the TCM don't they. Glad I had a 16 SS and now with my 16 C7 saved a bunch of money just in credits. Luckily I've learned to tune from Mike Sitar (toohighpsi) has really helped me understand what I'm looking at in the logs and tuning abilities are still kind of limited but from where I was 4 years ago when I first got my HP Tuners Pro and now MPvi2 its like night and day. Anyone that buys a car and plans on modding it needs to own the MPvi2 just to be able to log for whom ever is tuning your car if you can't.

To my knowledge the A10's are faster than the A8's. More pull.

Seen plenty of side/side rolling races where the A10 just out pulls the A8's.

Its not huge, but it is noticeable.

A log showing throttle angle, among other things, would be very informative. If it’s closing the throttle due to torque management you’d see it.

We're there any other Camaros at the track to compare? For example if there was a stock SS at the same track running 12.2 @ 116 or something along those lines then yes you have some tuning related issues.
