Advice on installing Texas Speed (specifically) 1 7/8 headers, passenger side

Im in the middle of installing TSP 1 7/8 headers with high flow cats. got the driver side in no problem, but the passenger side is kicking my ass!
my jack wont lift the car high enough to install from the bottom, because of the upright angle i have to tilt the headers to slide them into place from under. (connecters touch the ground, my jack doesnt go higher)
i see forum members advised going in from the top, however my O2 bung gets caught on the lip by the transmission just aft of the starter. then the pipes are against the motor mount - ish. starter heat shield is out. is it necessary to pull the whole starter out?
even if its out, the collector end of the headers mash the heatshield under the car, where the headers sit (cant get an angle to slide them back)

really having some issues here, any input is greatly appreciated.

do TSP headers on passenger side go in from the top or bottom?

thanks!

I did mine from the bottom but I did 2in headers. I had to use the biggest blocks with my quick jack along with having to max it out on height but eventually the slid in. I only removed the starter shield everything else stayed in place on the passenger side.

i had to pull the starter, remove the heat shield on the floor and remove the valve cover to get my headers in from the top on the passenger side. 2" speed engineering.

Try loosening the starter bolts and see if you can get enough clearance without totally unbolting it. If no, your probably going to have to remove the starter at the least.

Thanks for the response, everybody.

Valve covers dont seem to be preventing an install, but ill probably take it off just in case. Also, the O2 bung makes it past the starter, its just stuck against that lip.

Just posting these for more visual representation.

Whew, these are much harder than the 5th gen headers.

Im gonna try to finally finish this up tonight,
Any more input is greatly appreciated

Headers are in!

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I hope this thread helps anyone in the future in the same situation im in.

To be exact, i had to remove the starter completely, remove coilpacks, remove passenger valve cover (although it doesnt look like it might help, it definitely gives u that extra half inch of wiggle room) and remove the 45⁰ angle brace on passenger side. only took 5 min of wiggling after that and they popped in.

Just did some cutting on the exhaust by the 90⁰ bend and the high flow cats fit right in. Now just putting everything back together.

Thanks again for all the help, everyone.

When I did my headers, I pulled this little bracket, it made it easier to slide the header into place.
