Thank you for the feedback. I talked to my dealer today. The Sales Manager that orders their cars is out until Monday but they believe they have an allocation for a 2021 to be ordered Monday. I'll post a follow up as I hear the result.

Well, my dealer did not have an allocation for 2021 after all. So, they will be ordering a 2022 for me.

I'd like to do a full build out on the Chevy site before going into the Dealership (mainly to avoid them trying to convince me I don't really want what I want so they don't have to do a factory order) however the 2022s still aren't listed yet. Anyone know if the ordering is Dealer only with the website update coming at some later date?

I was really hoping to get the order in ASAP so I get into the wait queue that much sooner.

pretty sure chevy site wont update configurator for several months and ordering is only ever dealer only. you can't place an order from Chevy's site.
You don't necessarily need to have an order in asap since there's no allocation yet anyway.
You'd want to have an order in by the 29th, which is when I believe GearheadSS said the first allocations will be sent out to dealers.

For what it's worth, other than the few color changes and the 1LE on non-V8s, the rest of the configurator is largely unchanged. And of course not knowing what the pricing might be... but you should be able to get a good ballpark idea of look/cost other than those items above.
