Don't get too caught up on numbers, i wouldn't advise you against getting a proper tune from a reputable Gen V LT tuner as from my understanding the canned tunes have had issues in the past but can't really speak to that as i have always used tuners but 500 and 550 are not far apart. Especially if they tune the trans.
I dont know how you would judge success or but you won't go from extremely underwhelmed at 500 move to 550 and be satisfied, if you are going to a track in the quarter you wouldn't see half a second faster time with that hp either so that is a lot of my thought process, probably a super reliable 11 second or high 10 second car which is legit. |

Canned tunes are always going to be conservative because it's a blanket tune for people that just want to bolt on a blower and go. If they pushed for the bleeding edge with these tunes they run the risk of blowing motors and no blower company wants that reputation. Fuel system should be your priority now since you've done a blower. Gm didnt do us any favors with this fuel setup so take that 2k you were looking to spend and purchase some Lt4 injectors and pumps. Your power goal is going to determine how much you're going to have to spend.
