Probably had the same issue on the 5th gens but not a problem since when in a crash your knee would hit the key and turn it off anyway.

Even in normal driving conditions my knee nearly hits it all the time, but when I got rear ended it hurt banging that rough corner. Man, the Camaro 6 interior is SO MUCH better and nicely done and finished compared to the S197. The S197 it's like they took a whole bunch of random scrap parts and threw them together. People gripe about cheap interior on cars but the Camaro 6 has a very nice interior for an American car. |

I always wondered about the peeps with the carbon fiber overlays on their steering wheel. Wouldn’t these go flying too if the airbag deploys?
