I would rather them just kill the Camaro entirely and start a new eco performance genre. Nothing wrong with that at all... ...would even be great if it were smaller than the Camaro (but had a roomier interior), were more nimble, light weight with tall gears, and had quick spirited acceleration... making 35 - 45 MPG...but please don’t call it a Camaro.

I love my 4 bangers Camaro. Wouldn't mind if it was a 3 cylinders if it was as performant.
Nothing wrong with an engine having 7 or less cylinders.

Chevy ain’t putting no more money into the camaro. Makes sense if they had a 3 cylinder already or plans to put ones in other cars too but nothing new will be developed unless they come out with a 7th gen.
