New 2021

My 2018 Lemon is now gone, and now replaced by a 2021, This may sound weird, but do they not all come with Navigation? When I press the Nav button it calls onstar, and there is no map anymore. I would have thought they all have NAV. Is this not the case or am I not doing something right?

Navigation is still a $495 option...so not all have it.

Nope optional, and honestly imo not worth it. Apple car play makes things easy

Well shit. I liked having the maps on when driving. Hell I have the PDR and some other odd upgrades but not the nav. Seems odd.

Plug in your phone and turn on your phone maps. It will be the same, but better honestly. It will show traffic too with google maps.

That’s about my only option. Waze is decent for what it is. Oh well.

2021 cars have wireless AA and Carplay, no need to plug in your phone any more. I like the factory nav with its integration into the HUD and the gauge cluster; it can do traffic, too, but that's via SiriusXM and the phone stuff is indeed kept more up to date, plus you have Waze there as well.

I would never have a car with Navigation, since the inception of Apple Car Play. With Apple Car Play the map will be displayed right on your screen and give you the same abilities as the factory nav at 0 cost. The best is that it will always be up to date!!

I would suspect in the very near future you will see factory nav go away in all cars.

Waze on Android Auto puts a map up on the car's display.

Does the 2021 have HD Radio? I feel GM/Bose should have included that from the beginning!

I know this will probably not help in any way. I had a 2018 Zl1 with the Navigation. I used it once. I have had PDR in 4 C7'S and in my two previous 18 ZL1 and 2 SS 1LE. Never used it once. I just ordered a 2021 Camaro 2SS 1LE and skipped on the PDR and don't know why I ordered the nav. Oh well. I miss that ZL1.

My 2019 Blazer has the built-in navigation and to be honest it sucks. The directions it gives at times can be very confusing. I’ve made more wrong turns with it than without it. I much prefer using the maps app on my iPhone.
