I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but carbon ceramic brakes will shed significant weight, maybe more than wheels will. Check out racingbrake as they have a carbon ceramic option for our cars.

Otherwise...

Lightweight battery - cheap for the weight
Wheels - less cheap but lose static and rotational weight
Brakes - expensive but lose static and rotational weight

Maybe carbon hood or trunk lid.

Beyond that, you start to really make this more a race car than street car.

I just did APEX ARC-8 square set up, 19X10.5 w/a 30lb tire, tpms and new lug nuts = 54.5 lbs. Stock SS 1LE front wheel w/tire, tpms, and lug nuts= 59.6 lbs, rear 61.6 lbs. Total weight reduction
24 lbs. This is on an SS 1LE and weighed on my bathroom scale.

I will post my wheel weights this week. I also have Apex wheels with ZLE specs on 3r tires.

I exchanged a few email with Signature Wheel and we came up with a total savings of 15-20 lbs. for 4 of their SV502 wheels.

And they gave me this argument:

"Here’s a great read from CJ Tragakis regarding reducing unsrpung weight: '..This means that dropping just 10 pounds per wheel with the addition of a lighter set of racing-oriented wheels would equate to a reduction of almost 120 pounds of sprung weight. In most drag racing instances, 100 pounds lost equates to a tenth of a second or one car length in the quarter-mile. It’s a small amount on paper, but it adds up if you’re racing competitively.”

I'm not sure I totally buy it though.

FWIW, the weight reduction plus the minor change in gearing did feel noticeable. Felt lighter and more eager to go. Rear set up reduced the rear diameter by .5".

Yea, I don't know about that for drag racing, however it does make a difference in feel for road racing. For drag racing any weight you can get off the front end is most beneficial for weight transfer.

BTW, have you seen any header-back or catback fitment designed for quick removal and reinstallation of the (hi-flow) catback system? That's 70 freakin pounds!

I mean, is there any way to jack it up, reasonably quickly remove the exhaust and reinstall when you get back from the track, which in my case, is 3.5 miles away? It can't be that tough.

H6-40-RS

Its been great so far, no issues. I had a lithium battery in my Hellcat prior to my ZL1 for over 2 years without any issues. OEM battery was about 45lbs if I recall, the Anti-Gravity H6-40-RS is about 15lbs.
Did you consider the H5-24-RS with 1000 CA weighing 8 lbs.? Under my circumstances, my car only requires say 700-800 CA daily.

You Seen that stapleton42 youtuber that makes videos of the white Zl1 going down to Yellow Belly's in Grand Prairie tx(the 16 year old kid)... Anyhow they and his buddies came down for Tx2k.. I want to say they are shooting for 3300lbs Complete interior gutted with 1 racing seat, door panels only, no carpet, center console was still there but the lid for box and charging station removed, light weight wheels, smaller brakes, no wang, and so on I believe they are doing some anderson panels soon to hit the 3300 mark.

I did consider it but would rather have a little more than be right at the limit. It was only a few lbs more, I figured I was already saving a good bit of weight.

I have not seen any system made for quick changing the cats to off-road pipes and vice versa. You could build one though with a decent exhaust shop and just use flanges on each end of the pipes. It would just take some fabrication.

Now that my Stage 2 is done, I'm getting serious about rear race wheels again, and see that Billet Specialties says their 17x10 rears weigh 18.8 versus my 19x12 of 33(?)
