Dead Battery?

My 2020 ZL1 is acting funny. Can't get it to start off boost and just came in the garage and the wipers are going. Is battery shot or is it possessed? Car has 300km on it. No I did not trickle charge it this off season. Started it a couple times. Heated garage.

Man that’s strange. I left mine at least two months in my unheated garage and I’m not too far from you. Started right up but slower cranking I’m sure due to cold and battery drain. Wipers on??? That’s weird.

When the battery starts to go, it's not so unusual to see signs of it through your cars electronics, or in your case, wipers. If it's not totally drained, I would try a battery tender, but if it's shot, it may not even charge. This at least is a good starting point.

confirm battery voltage...take the battery leads loose from battery to charge. Attempt to restart after a low amp overnight charge of battery. Boost sometimes does wacky things when the battery is really dead and you are trying to "kick it up" quickly

Thanks for all the help. I put the battery on charge and it started the next day. I let it run for awhile and seems okay except for engine light is on now. I put the trickle charger on it and left it for 24hrs and it is showing charged. I was told it didn't like me messing with it so much trying to boost it and probably set off a sensor. We'll see if it goes out once I start using it. Sure was nice to hear the beast come to life!

Looks great! A few engine cycles and you'll probably lose the cel (check engine light). Glad it worked out.

As I discovered here AGM batteries require a specific charge & maintenance.

A standard charger is no bueno.
