My stock LT1 pistons that broke the ring lands would like to have a discussion with you on strength. LS3s take boost and any modifications so much better than LT1s, which may just come down to the DI.

Very difficult decision when factoring cost! Best performance would have to be 11/12 staggered 19s with 305/325, but the 10.5 square rotatable is pretty awesome performance and cost wise. Food for thought, I was considering 20x10.5 square and the old stock 305 G3s makes for awfully cheap tires!

Good deal on those used tires. I wish someone would buy those 285/35/20 G3Rs i have for $50 each!
Agree fully. I meant power. And the fact that Camaro motor dynos close to 500 in both HP and TQ notwithstanding official numbers (which seem bang on for the C7s). As far as your broken parts...ya do have a blower dont ya

Agree LS3 is much easier to mod and quite stout. As far as a C6 GS having a chance I am sticking to my position, as that car is quite a bit behind C7 GS, yet I am even (or better) with those on non Cup2 tires. And a C7 Z51 is no issue.

Cheers!

was going to order some new fresh goodyear 3s but saw a deal on facebook local to me of a guy selling 6 used ones for 100$ each so might as well do it lol
That's a nice deal, provided they aren't hockey pucks by now

Staggered or square...the latter is much cheaper for sure incl initial purchase, ongoing consumables (new tires) and ability to stretch tire longevity by swapping R to F. But, i have no idea what a non SS balance is like etc. So completely uneducated opinion here. I'd go with whatever TheRealJA would recommend as his chassis was the same (?) as yours albeit he loved a loose car if i recall correctly, so...

The AR1's will be coming out in a 305 30 19. They are a new tire and with everything going on right now they just haven't arrived yet.

I also have thought about going down to 18's though

We shall see how a GS stacks up against a 1LE, Im bringing my GS to Limerock in April or May. Same driver, since I own both cars , my 1 LE was bone stock including alignment, my fastest lap was a 102:5. My tires were screaming, and took a beating, but still a decent time for stocker.

I do not know if Corvette drivers are slow, but I never got passed by a Vette, on the track unless, it was an all out race car on slicks. I have passed many Vettes, in the past 2 years of running HPDEs 25-30 of them

I took my GS in a empty parking lot, that was just paved, with my bone stock GS, it was amazing, felt like a Go Kart, razor sharp, light n
and nimble. I do not think my 1LE could have gone as fast. But on a real race track it might be a different story, looking forward to the comparison. I will video document and post on line

Small world. I saw you on the track I was also in group 3, you let me by, after the Ss, in 3rd session on Sunday. I left after that my tires were totally shot

There was a blue Camaro behind you. I passed him then was trying to pass you.

I have it on video
Was a nice run!!!
