$255 oil change

Welp, had my first oil change on the LT1 where I had to pay, the 1st was on Chevy!
Anywho, 10 quarts later at $18.77 each plus $35 for labor, some tax and disposal. HOLY F.

Guess i'll be doing my own in the garage here on out. Just sharing my horror!

Well, either that or find a different place. Don't know how the service people could keep a straight face when charging you that much.

Do it yourself, will cost you about $90 and you'll know it's done right...

at 20 bucks a quart, i'm sure that adds 5hp per, so i'm up to 505hp now. !!!

That's insane even knowing it the lowest paid monkey in the shop that does oil changes that's a ton.

no It was $18.77 per quart! x10 that's $187 for oil, a $6 filter, $35 for labor etc

Wow! That’s one hell of a Mark up! Was this a dealer? I just got my first oil change and I had them do the diff and the m6 tranny. Oil and labor was 300 out the door. Either do it yourself or find another dealer. That crazy!
