Spark Plugs & Wires: questions
Headers and more boost in the future, I was thinking
- Accel 135* Ceramic Boot Plug Wires PN 9065C. They state they are 12” length, same length as what they state the direct replacement wires are PN 9059C. I’m thinking the 135* angle boot will help keep the wires away from the headers and not cause issues with routing or length? For plugs - NGK Spark Plugs LTR7IX-11 - NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs Are these plugs 1 step colder then stock? |

You’ve got no idea. I was an original 03’ Cobra owner which the ZL1 replaced. You name it, I had done it to my Cobra. I did 99% of the work myself. Magazine feature car. Everything on that car had been upgraded. Started with the usual, then ported blower, then Kenne Bell, then single turbo with nitrous & methanol injection, built motor, full suspension......and the list goes on and on and on.

Thats the plug I run and I use the Speed Engineering 12" wires and they also sell the plugs your lookin for. Good price on both, check out all their other stuff for the Camaro.

You don't want Iridium plugs.... I'll leave these two short videos right here. The first would be my recommendation for wires and the second is about plugs

Iridium plugs are fine. I know Hellcat's making 1200hp+ using Iridium. Copper or Silver are slightly better though if you don't mind changing plugs a lot more often. I've heard more than my fair share of horror stories about Brisk silver plugs though.

Can LS length wires be used?
I’m guessing they are slightly shorter but with a 135* spark plug boot they could be used? |
