1LE’s Spec Fitments
Would the 1LE Spec Suspension fit with the ZL1 1LE Spec Handling Component Suspension Upgrade System together on a 2SS A8 Coupe, without the ZL1 1LE-Spec Multimatic DSSV® Lowering and Handling Suspension Upgrade System, or would those last two have to be combined?

I am about to have my suspension inspected and possibly replaced. My ride is very bouncy over even small bumps.

Edit: Just confirmed on a few different sites. GM has the same PN for the rear knuckle assemblies on 2018 SS 1LE (FE4), ZL1 (FE4), and ZL1 1LE (FEA). This means that the rear knuckle bushings should also be the same for all of those.

Zl1 to ZL11le suspension
What suspension parts from a Zl1 1LE are able to be put on a zl1? And all zl1s will work regardless of the year right? Cause 17 Zl1s aren’t compatible on Gmpartsdirect but 18s are for some reason
I’m trying to upgrade except for the DSSVs when I get my Z while keeping MRC Last edited by YoungFamous; 12-19-2019 at 01:11 AM. |

Interested in the differences between these parts FE4 vs FEA:
Front "Ride" Links. These are the diagonal lower front control arms FE4 = 84051641 & 84051642 FEA = 84051643 & 84051644

Maybe you mean between FE2, FE3 = 84012305 & 84012306 and FEA = 84051643 & 84051644 Which would just be a difference in bushing durometer. |

FE2 to FE4 Sway Bars
Tried to read through the entire thread, and others, but there's a lot of info going every which way.
It looks like FE4 sway bars may be the stiffest of the bunch, and I have the tires to match, at least for autox. My daily Michelins won't be able to keep up but that's alright. My main question is if I order from GM parts direct does it include the mounting hardware too or do I have to order that separately? Also, will I run into problems with the plastic FE2 end links? I haven't been able to find a whole lot of info on them.
