2021 Inventory

Is it me or are there far fewer Camaros in dealer inventory than in years past? The local Chevy dealers don't seem to be hurting for inventory in general - lots of SUVs and pickups - but a 50 mile radius search turns up an average of 1 new Camaro per dealer and none of them are what I'm looking for.

I think it depends on what part of the country you’re in. We’ve had a fairly dry winter this year, but there are still lots of ‘20 and ‘21 camaros at Riverton Chevy here in Northern Utah

I'm in Central NJ, so there's no shortage of dealerships. But even the "Chevy Superstores", like Reedman Toll in eastern PA, have basically squat. I'm not delighted about the possibility of ordering because I'm concerned about getting jacked on price, but... I guess if I have to, I will.

Ideal config, FWIW: 3LT V6 10 sp, black/black, RS, Carbon Flash wheels, NPP, Nav

I can tell you for sure, one of the biggest dealers in Ontario Canada has like 1, maybe 2 Camaro's on the lot, and they are mostly 1LT's
I just ordered mine over a week ago and now the waiting game begins for my LT1. Any that were in stock were Automatic's and of course I wanted 6 speed.

When I ordered mine I got about 2500 dollars off Sticker. It was through the preferred pricing program, paying 2% over dealer invoice. Not much negotiating on that unfortunately. They are not in business to lose money so you can only squeeze them so much. By the time the car arrives in the spring (hopefully) whatever other incentives are available can be stacked. 0 Percent financing, 1000 dollar finance credit, whatever it may be at the time. As it stands right now my deal was worked out on 0.9% financing here in Canada...

There are 32 camaros with in 50 miles of me. I can find whatever I want in those is easy. The trucks are the issue. They have either stripped down value model or the loaded out ones. Not much of a selection on mid tier trucks

Within 50 miles of me:

37 Camaros
32 are coupes
2 are 3LT
1 is a 10 speed auto. It's Satin Steel Metallic (don't want), no RS package, no NPP exhaust.

In past years there was definitely more to choose from.

We've got tons of them here in Texas. I bought my car about three weeks ago, and there were about 150 new Camaros within a 200 mile radius.

There was only one manual V8 coupe in "red hot," though. It may be slim pickins' if you want something really specific or unusual.

Edit: The 3LT trim doesn't seem to be all that common, but there are a bunch of 2LTs in Texas that are pretty close to what you're after.

Here's a 2LT that has everything you wanted except the wheels. I'd rather have these wheels anyway.

Not here in FL. Dealers in this region carry mostly v6 Camaros.

Very few SS and VERY few LT1. When they do carry an SS it's a 2SS rag top fully loaded pushing 54k!

Same way with the Mustang GT. Dealers don't carry many Mustang GTs on their lot. When they do have them it's a v6 or Eco Boost garbage. Good luck ever finding a GT350.

The dealers however do carry tons of new and used SUVs, Vans, large sedans in my part of FL.

Maybe it's because it's older folks and they cater to them who like larger cars, I dunno.

Here in the snow belt its very seasonal, as you might expect. They dont have hardly any, but then again there's a foot of snow and its a balmy 12 out.

Thanks - that's actually a really nice car. The 3LT is a must-have for me because if I have any hope that my wife can take it out and return it in one piece, I need the rearview camera and blindspot warning systems. I've driven a buttload of Camaros (I travel a lot for work and National always seems to have one ready for me) and as you guys know, everything they say about rear visibility is true.
