I got some similar on Amazon. They work really well and give the plate that "finished" look.

Yeah, I had a silicone frame waiting for when my plates arrived. Fits snuggly and works perfectly to eliminate any chance of rattle as well. This is the one I went with.

Those license plate silicon covers... I want to get them but I am not sure if they will fit in the licence plate frames I currently have.

Decided to get something that can diffuse some essential oil in my car, and it turned out to be an empty box. At least returning on Amazon is extremely easy.

But as I looked at the box, I did notice something about the packaging... What a coincidence.

Sent from toaster or something

These are made for homes but i’ve read good things about using this or similar in the auto. Attach to your cabin filter

They didn't fit inside my plate frame. They are almost exactly the same as the outside dimensions of a metal frame. They do wrap around the plate, so they look like a metal frame.

I don't believe that they'll fit inside a plate frame. The plates fit tightly inside them and they have a lip that covers the outside edge of the front of the plate. Think "tray" and not "back cover". They also have a "top" and "bottom" as they have drain holes built into them to let water and moisture drain away. My clear plate cover actually sits on top of the silicon edge. Maybe you can see it in this pic if you zoom-in.
