2-Step Trouble

I’m running the MSD 2-Step being controlled through a little momentary switch button and i’m having an issue using it. When i set it to where i need it (3500 RPM) and i turn off traction control i try to rev it and it spins the tires and starts burning out. Not what i’m going for to make a launch.
When i keep Traction Control on, it doesn’t let me rev past like 1500-2000 max.
How am i supposed to use this?
Thanks for the help if you have any suggestions or advice. Maybe i’m missing something

The 2 step is only for rpm, it has nothing to do with the actual tire spinning. Id guess traction control is keeping it from doing a burn out. When you shut it off, it'll do a burnout. Both situations are regardless of having the 2step set to 3500 rpm. Your car will not stall up to 3500 rpm in Drive without having an aftermarket torque converter.

Well i have a 3600 rpm stall now from circle d, just haven’t tested it yet. just trying to see if i should expect the same problem or if i’ll actually be able to use the 2 step up to 3500 or so

I had a 3400 stall from circle d too and it only went to 2800. I sent it back to them and winter hit so I haven't tried it out again. Put the converter in and see what it brake torques up to. Set the 2step right below that and let it rip.
