I agree...more like 8K at a minimum depending on what you decide to do. Working with my shop...750hp is going to cost more like $11K but in addition to the parts/labor to get to 750HP (lower pulley, headers, plugs, tune), I am adding a full Borla S Type exhaust, Kooks green cats and Weapon X heat exchangers, LT5 ported TB and Catch Can. Just my 2 cents...

The major shops like those I listed are about the same. The variables include hauling and warranty. There might be one or two people here that have a great shop or garage and could build an 850 flywheel for less but even they would need some help from others.

Houston Performance Solutions
J- Rods shop Matt Sorian (MS tuning) For the record they all use Matt for tuning. 10-11k will get you to 750+whp Ported SC 103 TB Big Gulp Headers Plugs Meth Cam Add about 5k to that to reach 800+whp. This is for the Mag 2650. Obviously no warranty except for parts and labor maybe. |

I'm skeptical about this all-in price, and I do not see it at their site. Plus, for me and most others, add $2500 hauling and $1000 dyno/tune.

JSH, no offense but you already had your work done by HPE, and you are constantly trying to prove they are better and/or justifying the price you paid for the work and trying your best to prove no other shops can do the same for less money. |

FWIW it goes beyond the cost. When you mod, stuff may break, the possibility goes up as the mods and HP increase. So the reputation of the shop, their familiarity with what you want to build, do you know the guys who will turn the wrenches, have you met them,do they do a dyno or a dyno/street tune, what parts do they recommend and why...
