LT2 Intake (Non Ported), E85, Rotofab, and ECM Tune ONLY
Installed and took my buddy's full weight 6th Gen to the track a few weeks ago.
Current Mods are: LT2 (Non Ported) Intake Manifold, Cat Delete Pipes, Rotofab, E85, and ECM Tune ONLY. He went 11.45 @ 121.50MPH. His previous best in pretty similar conditions was 11.98 without the LT2 IM and Cat Delete Pipes. I did not have to adjust the tune at all when I added the LT2 IM from the stock IM. It stayed 12.8ish AF. Pretty impressed with this IM vs. the more expensive alternative. Good bang for the buck. https://gwatneyperformance.com/cart-share/kNGeE/ref/2/

Haven’t seen anymore threads on 1/4 passes with the LT2 manifold.
You guys think this car has a 10.9 in her with trans tuning skinnies and weight reduction? Maybe porting the Tb and Porting the LT2 might help also |

I think it will, probably going to need all of the above and long tube headers to get there. You really see the gains when several air flow restrictions are addressed in combination. Reduce some weight and yea, 10.9 possible with great DA.

I currently have everything he has down to the same rear wheel and tire minus the LT2 and I went 11.6 @120 in 3000DA 89 degrees. Looks like the LT2 is good for around .2 and 2mph from what I’ve seen online, which should put me at that 11.4 range just like this car. I’ve seen no TM trans tunes shave off .3 and gain 1mph so in my head that should put it in the 11.1 range. Then skinnies should shave off another .1 and gain around 1mph so 11.0 on paper Atleast. That’s where I wonder if weight reduction and porting will be enough to get that .1 more. Maybe a Velossa tech ram air duct could help too. I guess I’ll have to provide feedback after I do it |

So what was the mph and 60' on your buddy's car before the LT2? That's what we really should be asking. Also the DA
Iassume the car is auto? |
