2021 LT1 1050 miles 2 months old
Have 1050 miles on my 2 month old LT1, car has seen redline 5 times, no oil consumption, engine seems to have broken in well, I did not baby it, but didnt abuse it either. My engine was built sept 17th (day 260) and I assume no valve spring issues.

I have a A10 car, those redlines were during WOT 2-3 shifts in auto mode at about 62-6400RPM and let the car deaccelerate against the engine when lifting after the 2-3 shift, not from missed shifts or holding a gear in manual mode and hitting the fuel shut off rev limiter.

Are there specific days where issues were identified? As in scary month of July?

2 months and 2000 or so miles, no issues whatsoever. Great car to drive, very fun.

Are you talking about the build date of the car or the engine? My car was built 11/02, engine was built 9/17. There is a date code sticker on the back of the drivers side cylinder head, cannot see it with out a mirror. If your car was built in July, I would say your engine could be a June built engine which is before the Valve spring issue I think.

Engines built in July, August and September. Your build month of the car on the door opening decal is just that, The month your car came off the assembly line, not when the engine was built.

Most of the valve spring failures APPEAR to be early-under 500 miles. A bad heat treat is my diagnosis - but heck I'm an amateur.
If your at 1000 miles I think your fine. BTW- its all the DI LT engines- 5.3 and 6.2 .....
