I would definitely change the diff fluid if you got the car new. Once at 1500 miles, then another at about 3k miles. After that, I think you are probably fine following the maintenance schedule unless you track, in which case, log the hours and change according to that.
The fluid gets pretty dirty for the e-diff during the break-in period. This is for my SS 1LE when I changed the fluid at 1500 miles.

the A10 does not have a "spin-off" filter... It is a typical looking transmission filter held in place with a couple of retaining bolts.

Guys,
Do you have to request adding the LSD additive when requesting the differential fluid change (OEM stock GM Fluid) or this already included?

I'm going to set up an initial 5k trans service at my dealer, did the rear diff myself (Amsoil Severe Gear oil with "slip lock" additive) |

I agree. It's a cheap service for what you get, and considering the cost of the transmission, it's money well spent.

I want to be sure I understand this:
Does 15 track days equal 50,000 miles in terms of wear/tear on, and needing to service, an A10 trans? Seems hard to believe.

Since I usually drive my car pretty hard, because it is not a daily driver, I will probably keep changing it every 10,000 miles or so. I still change the diff every year. That fluid gets nasty real fast. |
