Thank you for the replies.
Update on my fix if anyone is interested. I decided to go to the dealership to order the part (I know it is far from the most inexpensive, but I wanted to keep everything OEM and proper (in my mind). 700$ for the replacement splitter plus 4$ for each of the rivets. I was going to replace it myself until I realized it is also held on by rivets. I wanted it replaced as close to the factory as possible, I had the dealership replace it. Sounds like it produces downforce and is designed for high speed, I didn't want to mess with replacing this myself. 140$ for labor. All in all just under 1000$ Don't crack your front splitter! After 4 years of ownership and not a scratch on the car, this being the only damage, I justified the cost of this. Seeing a brand new C7 Grand Sport sitting on the lot got me thinking of trading in the 1LE. Decisions decisions..... |

It is a known issue that the OEM front splitter plastic is thin and cracks too easily. You can drill out the rivets and the replacement still holds on fine at high speeds on track with just the bolts and double sided tape. Ikon used to sell a OEM lookalike splitter with thicker plastic but that page is now removed from their website. Hopefully there is another sturdy lookalike available somewhere out there for the many more people who will also inevitably crack their front splitter in the future.

Go to GM Parts direct, they should have the spoilers. Had to remove bolts, drill out rivets and lots of double face tape to get the spoiler off. Took my time on installing the replacement. No issues.
