wheels

this 2021 camaro 2ss I bought is all black even the wheels. I was thinking of having a shop paint a red 1/4 inch stripe around the wheels. same color as the ss badge in the grill and the brake calipers. does anyone have a photo of that.

There is (or at least was) a factory option to have black rims with the red striping; there are photos on the internet. I would have your rims painted. I would get rim striping if anything, then it could also be removed as well.

Side question - do you have a 2LT with the RS package? Or do you mean SS LT1?

I used this system... worked great and their application tool made installation simple. Tons of colors and reflectives to choose from.

this video shows them installing a red pin stripe on a black Camaro wheel.

I'm thinking maybe you have a 2SS?

How are you liking the Camaro in comparison to your old Corvette? Was it a coupe/convertible? Color? I was really looking to purchase a C7 before I got the Camaro, as I've liked the C7 rentals that I've had. Unfortunately, the wife said no to getting another 2 seater

my corvette was nice it was a convertible, I had it for 4 years an loved every minute of driving it. I had 35k miles on it. it was long beach red with a black top. I'm retired but my wife still works I ask her to split her driving between the corvette and her Cadillac xt5 but the corvette had blind spots, so she didn't drive it. plus my wife has a condition of getting dizzy to the point of almost getting sick. If I wanted to take her to dinner, car show or even shopping with my car she had to drive. Knowing that I took her to the dealer to test drive a camaro the first thing she said was OH look I can see behind me (no blind spots) So I took the corvette out of the picture. she loves the car and now trades off with her suv. Plus if I ever want to drive a sporty car its not the corvette but its the next best thing it has seats like the corvette, the steering wheel is the same it has 450 hp in fact the couple times I drove it I think the response is better in the camaro now the corvette seems to have more grip That could be the tires the camaro has good year run flats. Sorry for the long answer to your question

Are you sure you mean blind spots? Owning both cars I can say there are way bigger blind spots in the camaro

Interesting, many complain of the Camaro's blind spots. I would say that the Gen6 Camaro's are worse for not being able to see than the C7's, from what I recall. It is completely normal now after I had driven the car a bit, but it was definitely shocking the first time I sat in the car.

I do agree with the response and grip comparison. The Camaro seems to be a bit more on edge, and is easier to lose grip (as far as using the power) than the C7. The C7 Z06, on the other hand, is a different story.

Vegas Z06 and the convertible was in FL
