How much gear/backlash is normal? Video (Centri guys)
Ive read around and its not uncommon to hear the noise at idle. Mine is heard at idle and throughout the rpm range. Ive heard some bearing videos on youtube which sound terrible. Mine is more like one marble bouncing around. My v1 on my cobra doesnt have any sound at all. Just curious what everyone thinks. Kinda hard to hear with bov blaring away but in person the rattling noise is embarrassing.

If it's a Procharger with standard cut gears then yes it will be very noisy which is why they offer the Helical gear set as a upgrade to quiet it down.

It sounds odd. I'd take it off until you figure it out.
It wouldn't be cool if it was an impeller issue and you decorated your intake tract with little metal parts....
