Chevrolet Camaro E/28 Electric SUV

Has anyone seen this article on Motor Trend about what a Chevrolet Camaro E/28 might look like? I think I’d be a buyer as our second vehicle. I like the styling. Thoughts?
https://www.motortrend.com/news/chev...28-renderings/

Edit: I just noticed that it’s an old article so I’m sure this has been discussed. Move on!

Two dumb ideas doesn't make either of them a good idea. My two cents!

Chevy has to adapt and electric cars are here to stay. I got to ride in a Tesla 3 and that thing hauls !! It’s not for me but I also realize we won’t have gasoline forever. I’m at least open to the idea of eventually switching to electric.

Electric cars are an interesting idea at this time. I dont think the long term solutions are here with the current battery technology. There are a lot of recalls on the various electrics and hybrids where sudden fires are the key concern of the recalls. Plus where is all that energy going to come from when everyone has an electric car? I know its coming, but maybe not for me.

And fire threat is even more awesome when the vehicle is in an attached garage.

Never thought I would go electric, but recently got a 2020 Chevy Bolt to use as a DD.
I really like it and its surprisingly quick.

It is respectable in acceleration and certainly a fine vehicle.

If we do see an E Camaro it will be a performance coupe. I don’t see GM doing an SUV and calling it a Camaro. I don’t follow Ford fan sites but I can’t imagine this was popular slapping the Mustang name on an SUV, regardless of how good it is. But like Bronco, maybe they are building a brand around Mustang.
