Recommendation for a shop in SE Florida

Anyone know of some shops here in SE Florida that have a strong reputation for mod installs and tuning, e.g., pulley and headers?

Thanks.

I’m in Fort Lauderdale too. I use the guys that were Lashway at one point. The head mechanic and tuner are now at different spots, but still work together. Send me a pm, I can link you up if you want. They’re currently working on mine...a 416 cube LT4 with a procharger. But I’ve had them do work on several of my cars, and always been happy.

Agree too even though I haven’t had any work done by Vengence. I know several people where I live that have had their cars done there and were satisfied with the work. Vegence will even come pick up your car and deliver back to you when they are done working on it.

Only shop I know in that area is Redline Performance. They are not cheap, but I am told they do decent work. They were a little too pricey for my job, but yours is a lot less work.

I have used Redline Motorsports in the past, they were good.

D.S. Motorsports in Davie did my pulley/headers install.

Owners name is Nick and I have known him for a while. Quality work with a good turn around time.

Thanks guys. I've been to Redline for a dyno session. I've inquired about their pulley package and it wasn't cheap.

I'm used to when I had a GTI. A flash, a downpipe, and a CAI yields + 60 hp and +124 lbs tq, for under $1500, installed. That's under $25/ hp and $11/ lb of torque. Most of the packages I've seen are well over $50/ hp.

If I used Vengeance I'd probably drive up and have it done.

I dont think vengance would be any cheaper than redline.

I think the cost for pulley, ati balancer, TSP headers, catless connection pipes, ARP crank bolt, crank seal, green belt, tune, plugs and wires was around $3000.

The LT4 engine is considerably more expensive to modify than many other performance cars.

I assume that's without install, according to the price on the Vengeance site.

Those prices are for an installed package at Vengeance racing. I used them for my Z/28, awesome shop.
