Strange find in air filter compartment....
So, I just bought a used 2016 2SS, and was messing around under the hood today, decided to check the air filter to see if it was still good.
Down in the bottom of the filter shell, there was sand (I am in FL), small leaves, and a Marlboro cigarette butt..... Imagine someone driving without a filter in place... What the oddest thing YOU have found in your air filter? Jim

I pulled mine a couple of weeks ago when I hit 10,000 miles. I bought the car used at 6,800 miles. I was surprised to find a decent amount of leaves in the airbox. The airbox is completely stock so I was a bit shocked.

Years ago I worked at a 10 minute oil change place. We had a lady come with some type of honda car, and we found an entire squirrels nest in the air box. Complete with hundreds of acorns, sticks, leaves and grass for insulation. I still cant believe that car ran, with all that material packed in the air box. Oh and the OE air filter was eaten. I think she said the car had sat for period of time un-used at her house.

Not the cabin filter, callback to when I had my 5th gen, had it sit in the garage for about a month while I was out of town, came back and went to change oil before it got hot out, this was a v6 so I always took the whole cover off the manifold and heyooo scorpion nest. Thanks arizona
